Gohar Ejaz Group Sweeps Victory for 17th Consecutive Year in APTMA Elections

LAHORE:

Dr. Gohar Ejaz Group has secured a 17th consecutive victory in the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) Annual Elections 2026–28, with candidates elected unopposed at both Central and Zonal levels.

Speaking at a press conference at APTMA House, Lahore, APTMA Patron-in-Chief Dr. Gohar Ejaz congratulated the newly elected leadership and emphasized the need to strengthen Pakistan’s textile exports through a competitive business environment, sustainable energy tariffs and reduced taxation.

Dr. Gohar unveiled a vision for value-added exports and announced the establishment of the APTMA Education Foundation and APTMA Technical Foundation to promote education and skills development in the country.

He stressed that Pakistan’s textile industry can significantly increase exports and employment if provided with conducive policies, while urging the incoming APTMA leadership to accelerate efforts for export growth and Pakistan’s economic development.

Outgoing Chairman Kamran Arshad thanked Dr. Gohar Ejaz and APTMA members for their support during his tenure, while Chairman-designate Asad Shafi called for a business-friendly environment and reduced taxes and levies to enhance global competitiveness.
